Printerworks roots date back to 1987, Dan Koven was an entrepreneurial, independent print, copy and fax machine technician that grew his business through positive referrals. With a smile Dan admits, “I never had a business plan or a long term vision when I started, my only plan was to keep up to date with my training, new technology and to respond quickly when my customers had a problem or required service. My customers appreciated the fact that I showed up when I said I was going to show up – that’s how I got to more customers back then.”
Today, the business continues to grow with an experienced team of like minded individuals. PrinterWorks employs only the highest quality people with a minimum of seven years experience and training in the Printer / MFP market.
With a solid business background in the financial services industry, Warren brings a wealth of knowledge of financial implications to a client’s printer fleet. Warren’s hands-on approach to business & exceptional communication skills provide PrinterWorks with the leadership required to succeed in the highly competitive market of IT services. Warren has a natural desire to understand the total costs of doing business – in detail. As a result it was easy for him to appreciate the pain companies were feeling when there costs of printing, copying and faxing grew out of control.
Dan has worked in the IT industry since 1985. During this time he has watched the industry evolve; as a front line service person he watched the cost of printing equipment drop, while at the same time the total costs of printing, copying and faxing grow out of control for small and large organizations. Dan complements his experience with a customer-first mentality that ensures a client’s needs are always at the forefront of PrinterWorks’ business. His extensive product knowledge, intimate understanding of our client’s printing requirements, and a keen eye for detail help provide the backbone of PrinterWorks on-going success.
Stefano joined the PrinterWorks management team in 2004. As an experienced manufacturer sales executive, Stefano brought an understanding of the market challenges from a manufacturers’ perspective. As a long time industry executive, Stefano ensures that the entire account management team maintains a deep understanding the strengths and weaknesses of all major brands of printer products on the market. Stefano’s constant focus is on ensuring Printerworks continues to offer state of the art, costs effective and environmentally friendly print, copy and fax solutions to existing customers and prospective clients.
As the Director of Sales, Gord directs the internal PrinterWorks Sales & Support teams and is the lead in implementing new customer-driven policies or procedures. Gord’s organizational skills complement the PrinterWorks “service-first” mentality. He brings a keen eye to detail and ensures that PrinterWorks’ internal processes meet and exceed all of our customer expectations. Gord is also the PrinterWorks lead in managing our diverse partner relationships with leading brand manufacturers. As an industry executive since 1999, Gord has been managing and fostering long term customer and manufacturer relationships. Gord’s leadership skills permeate throughout our organization.
Alan has overseen the development of all PrinterWorks unique service offerings. From developing our Electronic Service Control database to streamlining our web order tools, Alan personifies service and reliability. He is relentless in his desire to provide a perfect service experience to his customers and his attitude is the perfect complement to the PrinterWorks MPS vision. Alan leads all of the PrinterWorks on-site technicians, service staff, and various contracted partnerships that PrinterWorks maintains across Canada.
